Software for Houston's Energy, Health Care and Port Operators
A lot of Houston work happens away from a desk: on a well site, at a terminal gate, in an exam room. We build custom software and React Native apps that capture that work where it happens and get it into the systems your office already relies on, without asking crews or clinicians to type it twice.

Often, software that closes the gap between the field and the back office: inspection and job data captured once on a phone, clinic records and intake that respect Texas and federal health privacy law, and shipping documents read and checked against the shipment record, with mismatches sent to a person. We build all three around your existing systems.
Energy, refining and petrochemicals
The Dallas Fed's profile of Houston names an energy and mining cluster that includes oilfield services and refining, and the petrochemical manufacturing that grows around them. Those businesses run on forms: job tickets, inspection checklists, permits to work, maintenance requests.
A mobile app that captures them on site, with photos, signatures and location attached, and syncs them to the office system, leaves less paperwork to chase. We build those apps in React Native; Expo and OneSignal push notifications are among the tools we have used in production. For the plant side, see our manufacturing page.
Health care and the Texas Medical Center
The Texas Medical Center is in Houston, and the Dallas Fed counts health services, including the TMC, among Houston's large employment clusters. Clinic groups, specialty practices and health technology companies here can face two layers of privacy law.
The federal layer is HIPAA: when an engagement involves protected health information, we sign a business associate agreement and build to HIPAA's safeguards. The state layer is Texas Health and Safety Code chapter 181, which HB 300 amended in 2011 to add duties such as training employees on protected health information, giving notice that it is subject to electronic disclosure, and, outside exceptions such as treatment and payment, getting the patient's authorization for each electronic disclosure. Your compliance team owns the policy; we make sure the software supports it, scoped in the design phase. More on our approach on the healthcare page.
Port Houston and the Ship Channel
Port Houston operates the public terminals along the Houston Ship Channel, including the Barbours Cut and Bayport container terminals. Every box that moves through them generates paperwork for brokers, forwarders, drayage firms and importers: bookings, delivery orders, bills of lading, invoices.
Software that reads those documents, compares each one with the shipment record and sends mismatches to a person for review is the work our logistics page describes.

Common questions from Houston businesses
Can you build a field app for our crews?
Yes. We build iOS and Android apps in React Native for capturing job tickets, inspections and maintenance requests on site, with photos and signatures, synced to the system your office already uses.
Is HIPAA the only privacy law our clinic software has to meet?
Not in Texas. Health and Safety Code chapter 181, amended by HB 300 in 2011, adds state duties such as employee training on protected health information, and notice and, outside listed exceptions, authorization for electronic disclosure. Your counsel confirms what applies; we scope it into the design.
Do you sign business associate agreements for Houston clinics?
We do whenever a project handles protected health information, and the system is then built to HIPAA's safeguards.
Can software check our shipping documents against the booking?
Yes. A model reads the bill of lading, delivery order or invoice; depending on the workflow, each field is then checked against the shipment record, and anything that does not match goes to your team before it is saved.
How fast can an AI piece of this be live?
For a quick AI implementation, 2 to 4 weeks; more complex work takes longer, up to months. A full custom application usually runs 8–16 weeks.
