Port Tampa Bay describes itself as a major ship repair center, a cruise homeport, a fertilizer export port and an energy products gateway for Central Florida, with Foreign Trade Zone #79 among its services. Companies working the port handle bulk and break-bulk cargo, vessel paperwork and trade-zone records, and the documents arrive from many outside parties.
