CODE/+/TRUST's Ideal Client with Co-founder and CCO Andrew Strickland

Code and TrustUpdated October 8, 2026

Is Code and Trust a fit for your software project?

This archived video features Code and Trust co-founder Andrew Strickland, introduced as CCO when it was recorded, on the topic of an ideal client. If you are considering a project, use the companion questions below to prepare for a conversation about fit.

The following is an editorial companion to the archived video, not a transcript.

Start with the problem and the people

A useful first discussion does not require a complete technical specification. It does need a clear picture of the problem, who experiences it, and why solving it matters now. Examples of a current workflow, customer feedback, or a manual workaround can help a team understand what success should look like.

  • Describe the business outcome you want and a way to tell whether the software improves it.
  • Identify a person who can make product decisions and bring in users for feedback.
  • Share constraints such as existing systems, an important deadline, or a budget range so tradeoffs can be discussed early.

You can also explain what remains uncertain. Deciding whether to build a prototype, explore an integration, or narrow the first release is part of assessing a project. Read about custom application development before outlining your idea.

Contact Code and Trust to discuss your project.
